Head of the organization Human Rights Watch Kenneth Roth has sharply criticized the US President Donald Trump.

According to Reuters, Roth emphasized that the attitude of the head of state to the protection of human rights only leads to aggravation of problems. He also called Trump a “catastrophe” for the movement in defense of human rights.

“For our movement, this complicates the protection of human rights, since our main strength lies in the ability to shame abusive states,” – said the head of HRW.

The head of the organization believes that Trump is trying to find an advantage in racist statements, including sensational words about “dirty holes”.

Recall that, according to US media, the US president at a meeting with congressmen on migration on January 11 said that the country does not need migrants from “dirty holes” (the original – shithole countries), such as the countries of Africa, Haiti and El Salvador.
