YEMEN – Yemeni forces took control of new areas in the province of Taiz, south-west Yemen, on Thursday after fighting with Ansar Allah militants, killing and injuring 31 people, reports Sputnik news agency.
A military source, in the province of Taiz told agency, that “the Yemeni army took control of Naqil al-Salo and the school of success in the Directorate of Salo.”
According to the source, the progress of the Yemeni army was followed by “battles resulted in the killing of 14 Ansar Allah gunmen and wounding 8 others, while killing five soldiers of the Yemeni army and wounding four.”
