White House commented on the confession of guilt by ex-adviser Trump Flynn

Lawyer White House Tai Cobb said that the confession of guilt ex-US National Security Adviser Michael Flynn “does not concern anyone but himself.”

“These false statements reflect his false statements to the members of the presidential administration, which was the reason for his resignation in February 2017. None of what Flynn confessed does not concern anyone but himself,” said the lawyer.

Cobb also noted that the confession of fault Flynn testifies that the investigation of a possible collusion of the American leader with the Russian authorities “is in full swing and is approaching a rapid and reasonable conclusion,” according to reports.

Flynn on Friday, December 1, in court confessed to giving false testimony about the content of his phone conversation with the former Russian ambassador in Washington, Sergei Kislyakom in late December 2016.

According to the indictment, he lied during interrogation with the FBI that in an interview with a Russian diplomat he did not call on the government of the Russian Federation not to take action in response to US sanctions.
