CANADA – Scientists have revealed the complex mechanism that deceives the viruses immunity of the human body and fatal diseases.

Scientists from the University of McGill, Canada, explain how viruses cause chronic diseases, especially AIDS and hepatitis c, and weaken the cells of the immune system in the human body.

When they enter the human body, these viruses produce a chemical called interleukin-10 that controls the activity of T lymphocytes (a group of white blood cells that play a key role in immunity) and make them less effective.

This latest discovery helps scientists find new treatments for a number of serious human diseases, such as chronic viral infections, cancer and immunodeficiency diseases.
