UNITED STATES (VOP TODAY NEWS) — The United Aircraft Manufacturing Corporation published the test shots of the third prototype of the MS-21-300 aircraft.

The aircraft takes off, makes several laps over the airfield of the Irkutsk Aviation Plant, lands and leaves for the parking lot.

The flight took place at an altitude of 3.5 kilometers at a speed of up to 500 kilometers per hour and lasted 90 minutes. The plane was piloted by a crew of test pilots Andrey Voropayev and Roman Taskaev.

The MS-21-300 is a short-range and mid-range passenger aircraft of a new generation with a capacity from 150 to 211 passengers. The first flight made May 28, 2017.

Completion of certification is scheduled for 2020. On the mass production is expected to go in 2021.
