US Vice President Mike Pence arrived in Egypt on Saturday (January 20th) for a tour of Egypt, Jordan and Israel.
According to the site “Al-Ahram Gate” the US vice president arrived in Cairo on a visit during which he is scheduled to meet with a number of senior officials to discuss cooperation between Egypt and the United States on a number of issues of common concern.
The White House had previously announced that Mike Pence would be on a Middle Eastern tour from January 20 to 23 and that the vice president would visit Egypt, Jordan and Israel during his tour.
