US plans to ship Patriot anti-missile systems to Poland for $10.5 billion

The United States of America decided to supply Poland with Patriot anti-missile systems worth about $ 10.5 billion. Such information was reported by the Office of Defense Cooperation of the US Department of Defense.

In early July this year, the US Department of Defense and the Polish Ministry of National Defense signed an agreement on the delivery of Patriot air defense systems to Warsaw.

The signing of this document took place during the visit of the President of the United States of America Donald Trump to Warsaw. The agreement refers to the transfer of systems to Poland until 2022.

As Polish Defense Minister Mantoni Macechevic informed earlier , the Polish authorities received a proposal from the manufacturer of Patriot Rayoton air defense systems, according to which the complexes could be delivered to Poland already in 2019.
