US oil production in February is expected to rise by 111,000 bpd to 6.55 million bpd, the US Energy Information Administration said on Tuesday.
Oil production in the Eagle Ford region is expected to increase by 15,000 barrels per day to 1.27 million barrels per day, while production in the Bucken Basin is expected to increase by 8,500 bpd to 1.22 million bpd, the department said in a monthly report.
The information department predicted that the production of the Bermian basin would increase by 76,000 barrels per day to 2.87 million bpd.
On the other hand, US natural gas production is expected to rise to a record 64.1 billion cubic feet per day in February. That figure would be about 0.9 billion cubic feet per day higher than expected for January and would be the 11th monthly increase in a row.
