UNITED STATES (VOP TODAY NEWS) — US special prosecutor Robert Mueller on Thursday will publish his final report on an investigation that appears to prove the innocence of Donald Trump from complicity with Russia during the 2016 presidential campaign but could contain other embarrassing information for the president.

The US Department of Justice will publish the 400-page report on Thursday morning, but classified information has been removed. Before handing over the report to members of Congress, Attorney General Bill Barr will hold a press conference in Washington at 0930 (1330 GMT) on Thursday.

Its content could allow for an end to a long judicial political chain poisoning the first and second years of Trump’s mandate and allow the president to pay attention to his campaign for re-election.

But the Democrats are on the alert. If the report includes elements accusing the president, they will use all the means they have to resume prosecutions.

As this entitlement approached, Trump confirmed his confidence in the outcome. “No complicity, no obstruction,” he said, stressing that Muller’s investigation “completely cleared him.”

Muller, who was a highly respected FBI director in March, ended 22 months of investigations into the indictment of 34 Russian and American figures, including six close associates of President Trump, of embezzling funds.

This methodical and scruffy man who always stayed away from the political and media furore delivered his final report to Justice Minister Jill Barr, leaving him to manage the sequel of the matter.

Barr said later that the prosecutor had found no evidence of “coordination or conspiracy” between Russia and the surroundings of the Republican billionaire during the presidential election in 2016.

– Obstruction of the judiciary –

But in a four-page letter, he seemed less confident in the second part of the investigation, which is suspected of obstructing the work of the judiciary.

Because of his dismissal in May 2017, FBI Director James Komi, who was leading the Russian investigation, is suspected of Trump exploiting his powers to obstruct the work of investigators.

“If this report does not conclude that the president committed a crime, he does not exempt him from that either,” Barr said of the report.

The Democrats said the Justice Minister, who was recently appointed by Trump in this post, was a little hasty and wanted to know what was the basis of his decision.

Members of the Mueller team stated that the summary presented by the Special Prosecutor did not accurately reflect the outcome of their actions.

Democrats suspect the Justice Minister misrepresented the prosecutor’s findings and ask for the full text of the report.

The version, to be published on Thursday, was stripped of details that could allow the disclosure of investigators’ sources, damaging the reputation of some figures or influencing ongoing investigations or being presented to a grand jury.

Prosecutor Müller has resorted to those citizens who are protected by strict secrecy rules and can delete numerous paragraphs from his final report.

– “Angry Policemen” –

Trump confirmed that he had not read Muller’s report. But White House lawyers have discussed it with the ministry and are ready to deny suspicions of obstructing justice if strengthened.

On the other hand, the president continued his work to undermine the investigation, which he always likened to the campaign of “persecution” organized by the Democrats did not accept their defeat in the elections in 2016.

He repeated his comments on Twitter on Tuesday and criticized “angry policemen” whom the opposition had launched against him.

Bar’s announcement about his press conference angered the opposition. She accused him of trying to influence Americans before they could form their own opinions.

MP Hakeem Geoffreyz on Twitter called on the justice minister to “take the report out and remain silent.”
