The US Treasury decided to tighten sanctions against Cuba. This is reported on the agency’s website.

The sanctions will affect the army and security services of Cuba.

Earlier, US President Donald Trump said that he would continue to support sanctions against Cuba and Venezuela.

In response, the UN General Assembly urged the US to end the blockade of Cuba.
