The strategic reconnaissance aircraft of the US Air Force RC-135W on Friday made another long flight at the borders of the Kaliningrad region, follows from the monitoring data of western aviation resources.

According to their information, an American military aircraft with the onboard number 62-4134 and the call sign DUNK08, departed from the Mildenhall airbase in the UK, plying for several hours near the coast of the Kaliningrad region in the Baltic.

After departure from the airbase in England, the route of his flight lay over the Netherlands, Germany, Poland, as well as international waters of the southeastern part of the Baltic Sea.

On the eve, on January 4 this scout also carried out a flight at the land border of the region, being in the airspace of Poland and near its coast.

On January 1, a patrol anti-submarine aircraft of the US Navy P-8A Poseidon with a tail number 168436, departed from the Sigonella airbase on the Italian island of Sicily, carried out an hour-long reconnaissance flight near Sevastopol.

The same day, the strategic airless aircraft (UAV) of the US Air Force RQ-4A Global Hawk, also raised from the Sigonella airbase, completed a multi-hour reconnaissance flight in the Donbass.

During the flight, a long distance drone flew from north to south along the line of demarcation of Ukraine with the self-proclaimed Donetsk and Lugansk People’s Republics (DNR and LNR), but did not cross it.

Taking into account the possibilities of reconnaissance to a depth of up to 300 km, the RQ-4A drone of Global Hawk could observe the whole territory of the self-proclaimed DPR and LNR, as well as the border regions of Russia – Belgorod and Voronezh.
