More than 160 tons of UN humanitarian aid were delivered to Tell-Gehab in the Syrian province of Dera, the Center for the reconciliation of the warring parties in the territory of the Syrian Arab Republic said on Thursday.
“Over the past day, the UN humanitarian convoy has been safely and unhindered to the TELL-GEHAB settlement in DERA province, with food and household supplies weighing 162 tons,” the report said.
In addition, the Reconciliation Center and the Ministry of Reconciliation of Syria are testing the readiness of the infrastructure of the settlement of Al Buwaida for the return of refugees.
The Committee for the Management of the Eastern Territories of the Deir ez Zor Province, with the participation of the Russian Reconciliation Center, continues work on the return of refugees to the eastern bank of the Euphrates River.
In total, 239 people returned to their homes, including 193 people in Deir ez Zor province, 22 in Aleppo province, 24 in Homs province, the Center said.
