UAE calls for dialogue between Yemeni parties in Aden

UNITED STATES, WASHINGTON (VOP TODAY NEWS) — The United Arab Emirates on Monday urged southern Yemeni separatists it backs who seized the city of Aden, the seat of the Saudi-backed government, to engage in dialogue to defuse the crisis.

Abu Dhabi Crown Prince Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan also said in a statement after his meeting with the Saudi Crown Prince in the Kingdom that the two Gulf allies “stand together, strongly and determined, in the same trench against the forces that threaten the security of the countries of the region.”
