Typhoon Doksuri killed 9 people and left 4 others missing after hitting Vietnam

Typhoon Doksuri has killed nine people and left four others missing since it hit Vietnam’s central region on Friday, the country’s Central Steering Committee for Natural Disaster Prevention and Control said on Sunday.

Doksuri also injured 112 people, including 89 from Quang Binh and 10 from central Quang Tri province.

The nine victims included three from northern Hoa Binh province, two from central Thanh Hoa and Quang Binh provinces each, and one from central Nghe An and Thua Thien Hue provinces each. All the four people listed as missing are from Quang Binh.
