President of the United States Donald Trump for a year extended sanctions against Iran, introduced in 1979, the press service of the White House.
In a relevant letter to the Congress, Trump noted that the relations between the US and Iran “have not yet normalized.”
Earlier, Trump accused Iran of launching a missile that exploded in Riyadh.
It was also previously reported that the US appealed to French President Emmanuel Macron with a request to organize talks with Iranian President Hassan Rouhani.
