Representatives of the Syrian security service detained a car with smuggled weapons in the territory of the province of Essaouira in the south of the Arab Republic.

As news agency Muraselon informs, the vehicle was sent to the province of Damascus, most likely – to East Gutu.

During the search, mortars of various calibers, anti-tank grenades, cannons, mines, missiles and other weapons were confiscated.

It is assumed that this batch of weapons was transferred to the radicals of the opposition armed formations in the Golan Heights area by Israeli special services and then sent to Essaouira through the neighboring province of Dara for further transfer to the capital region.
