There is a possibility of life in the satellite of Saturn — NASA scientists

In the subglacial ocean, Saturn Enceladus can have a life. This assumption was made by NASA scientists, based on data obtained from the automatic station Cassini.

The researchers intend to send to the Saturn system in 2022-2025 the SELFI apparatus capable of determining the chemical composition of the subglacial ocean, its depth and temperature.

According to the head of the SELFI research mission Gordon Chin, the spectral analysis of water evaporating through cracks in the ice bark of Enceladus will allow to find potential habitats of life on the satellite of Saturn.
