Syrian government troops advance into Aleppo province after returning to the Abu Douhour military aerodrome in Idlib province. They liberated 44 villages and carried out demining operations.
The Syrian military has dislodged terrorists from most villages in southeastern Aleppo, Sputnik told an informed source.
“The Syrian army and its allies are preparing to liberate the southeast of Aleppo province after fierce fighting against terrorists,” said Sputnik’s interlocutor.
In a few days, Syrian soldiers liberated 44 villages and several strategic heights near the “Hanasser” road.
The success of government troops in southeastern Aleppo comes after the liberation of the Abu Douhour military airfield in the neighboring province of Idlib.
The base of Abu Douhour had fallen into the hands of al-Nusra Front terrorists in 2015.
