SYRIA (VOP TODAY NEWS) — The Syrian military media announced that the army entered the southern administrative border of Idlib province from the western Hama countryside after clashes with the militants of the Nasra Front deployed in the area.
The army has reached the administrative border of Idlib amid heavy artillery and air support, after violent clashes with gunmen from the Liberation of the Sham (Nusra), and the “Al-Azza Army” the main ally of the victory and the “National Liberation Front” backed by Turkey.
The Syrian military media confirmed that the army has regained control of the villages of Sharia, Al-Majaz, Al-Mustapha, Majdan Ghazal and Bab al-Harafa in the north-western and Hamra countryside in the southern administrative border of Idlib province.
The Army Information Network pointed out that the army came close to this progress from the start of Idlib’s liberation.
The Syrian news agency reported that units of the army killed and wounded in the ranks of terrorist groups that deliberately breach the agreement to reduce the escalation in Idlib through repeated attacks on military points and safe towns in the rural areas.
The army directed concentrated strikes on the headquarters of the “Nasra” organization in the town of Hass in the southern suburb of Idlib.
On Monday, the Syrian army launched a large-scale ground operation towards the demilitarized zone in the northern and north-western Hama villages. In the past few days, it has managed to liberate the strategic Tal al-Othman, Al-Banna, Al-Janaba.
