Syrian army units operating in Aleppo continue their operations against the organization of Al-Nusra Front and allied organizations and took control today on the village of Qaitl after the organization lost losses of personnel and equipment.
SANA reported that “units of the army in cooperation with the allied forces continued their precision operations on the hotbeds and fortifications of terrorists in the southern countryside of Aleppo, which resulted in the last hours to regain control of the village of Qaitl after the elimination of the last group.”
Agency also pointed out that “engineering elements are working to comb the village and dismantle the booby traps planted by the terrorists before the killing of many of them and the escape of the remaining where the army units pursue their remnants in the surrounding areas.”
The correspondent of the SANA said that the army units controlled the village of Qaitl, located at the administrative border between Aleppo and the southern tip of Idlib south-east became the outskirts of Abu Dahour airport in the south-eastern Idlib.
Since the end of last October, the Syrian army units have been carrying out a military operation to clear the southern countryside of the terrorists of the Nusra Front, during which they managed to regain control of dozens of villages and towns.
