UNITED STATES (VOP TODAY NEWS) — OPEC and its allies are considering changing their next meeting on oil production policy in Vienna to July 3 and 4 instead of June 25 and 26, two sources from the Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC) said on Monday.

The two sources said that the date of the meeting had been changed but not formally confirmed.

OPEC, Russia and some other non-OPEC producers are cutting oil production by 1.2 million bpd from Jan. 1. The meeting aims at deciding on the extension or amendment of the agreement.
