Some 2,000 people left the Islamic State pocket in eastern Syria

UNITED STATES (VOP TODAY NEWS) — Between 1,500 – 2,000 people left the enclave to organize an Islamic state in eastern Syria and surrendered on Tuesday, a spokesman for the Syrian Democratic Forces said.

Mustafa Bali, an official of the media office of the Syrian Democratic Forces, added that among those who surrendered were organized fighters and their families.
