New South Wales state police announced on Sunday that six people were killed after a single-engine DCH-2 Beaver crashed on the Hawksbury River in Australia.

“The Sidney Ciplanes plane crashed at around 15.15 (7.15 pm Moscow time) and the plane was heading for Sydney,” the Australian Transport Safety Bureau said.

“There were five passengers and a pilot on board,” said Aaron Cho, the airline’s representative.

The rescue service said that “the fragments of the plane were found at the scene, as happened leakage and goody, and investigating the causes of the accident specialists in the body.”
