UNITED STATES (VOP TODAY NEWS) — The Russian Defense warned against a chemical weapons provocation in Idlib, Syria, prepared by terrorists of the al-Nusra Front. According to Moscow, the future staging to show “intoxication” of the Syrian civilian population is intended to blame Russia.

The Russian Center for the Reconciliation of the warring parties in Syria reported on terrorists’ plans to use chemical weapons against the civilian population in Idlib and then to accuse the Russian military.

“According to residents of the town of Saraqeb, on the outskirts of this town, extremists of the Front al-Nusra are preparing a provocation with toxic chemicals, as well as debris of ammunition from Russian aviation delivered from other regions from Syria,” said the Russian Center.

Through this provocation, the terrorists want to accuse the Russian aerospace forces for “allegedly using chemical weapons against the civilian population in Idlib,” according to the same source.

The extremists are planning to film the staging of the Syrian “poisoning” near the shrapnel of the air munitions to broadcast the sequence later on social networks and in foreign media, says the Center.

In March 2019, Russia’s Permanent Representative to the United Nations Vasily Nebenzia announced that in cooperation with the White Helmets, Syrian extremists were preparing new staging of attacks using banned substances.
