Russia will respond to any attempts by terrorists to intensify in Syria – Putin

Attempts to resist terrorists in Syria will meet an effective response from the Russian side, the current agenda is a political process, Russian President Vladimir Putin said after talks with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan.

“In the event of the resumption of some hotbeds of resistance by terrorists, we will take effective response measures on the agenda – ensuring the process of political settlement in Syria,” Putin said.

The President visited Syria, Egypt and Turkey, where he met with the heads of these countries. Putin said that virtually all the territory was liberated from terrorists in Syria.
