Moscow has threatened Washington that it will retaliate if U.S.-backed forces in Syria continue targeting government troops. Russia said it will use all available weapons in response to any attempted attacks that can clash with the Syrian army’s offensives.
The warning was issued shortly after the army troops came twice under the fire of the artillery shot by the U.S.-backed Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF).
This is while all parties have agreed on the establishment of a de-confliction line in the area.
The Syrian Democratic Forces claims to be persistent in repelling Islamic State (IS, ISIS/ISIL) terrorists from the area.
But Russia says the forces have diverted from the battle to take Raqqa and Deir Ezzor from Islamic State terrorists.
