Russia “could not and did not” intervened in US elections

RUSSIA – The Russian Foreign Minister said on Friday that Moscow “could not and did not” intervene in the US presidential election. The absence of evidence and facts confirms this.

The head of the Russian Diplomacy said that Russia had never played any game regarding the Trump election and had never intervened in the US presidential election.

“They are still talking about state interference in the pre-election process, but I have not seen any facts,” Sergei Lavrov said in an interview with Euronews. “The other day, the Assistant Secretary of Homeland Security, responsible for cybersecurity, said they had no evidence of Russian interference in the pre-election affairs of the last presidential campaign.”

And to add:

“You know, the United States is a very special political system. I worked there for several years. The fact that for a year and a half, when this investigation was going on, there was no fact in the public sphere, that does not exist in the United States. If there had been a tiny fire, the smoke would have been visible right away.”

According to the head of the Russian Diplomacy, those who accuse Moscow, “have put themselves at the foot of the wall by the allegations about the” precise “details of Russian interference”.

“Now they are trying, after the fact, to find even justifications. But they can’t even do it.”

And to conclude:

“Russia was not” trapped “by its illusions about Trump’s presidential election, all that was said about the fact that we bet on Trump was false, they were just speculations.”
