The National Executive Committee of the Social Democratic Party, ruling in Romania, voted on Monday at an extraordinary meeting for the deprivation of Prime Minister Mihai Tudose political support.

According to him, as a result, Tudose announced that he was leaving the post of head of government.
Deputy Prime Minister Paul Stanescu will act temporarily as prime minister.
