Police: Scores killed after two buses collided in central Ghana

UNITED STATES (VOP TODAY NEWS) — At least 30 people were killed and several others injured when two buses collided in central Ghana, police said on Friday.

The incident occurred early on Friday near the city of Kentambu, about 330 km from the capital Accra, a police officer told Reuters by telephone.

Other reports said the death toll was at least 50, but could not be verified.
