Nutritionist Says Drinking Beer Daily Kills Brain Cells

UNITED STATES (VOP TODAY NEWS) — Nutritionist and nutritionist Irina Karaeva commented on the widespread opinion that drinking beer does not have a serious effect on the body, RIA Novosti reports.

The specialist dispelled the myth about the harmlessness of beer: according to her, the logic “a glass of beer every day – you will live a hundred years happily” has nothing to do with reality. She called the daily consumption of this drink in large and small quantities “a direct path to health problems.” In particular, beer kills brain cells.

“Even in small doses, beer negatively affects the functioning of the brain, cells die massively due to oxygen starvation. Alcohol can also cause headaches and stomach upset. In general, it has a detrimental effect on the entire body, the cardiovascular system begins to suffer, ”Karaeva warned.

According to the doctor, the heart acquires a layer of fat, increases in size, which increases the risk of arrhythmia and hypertension.

“Even in small amounts, alcohol gradually reduces the quality of life. And every year more and more people choose a complete rejection of alcohol and lead a healthy lifestyle, ”she concluded.

Earlier the most drinking nation in the world became known. She was recognized by Australians, who, on average, drank 27 times in 2021.
