US President Donald Trump has called North Korea a threat to the world, calling for more pressure on Pyongyang to end its nuclear and missile programs.
Trump, who is in Seoul, made the remarks during a joint press conference alongside his South Korean counterpart, Moon Jae-in. He also warned that the US will use full range of military capabilities if necessary.
The US president said Seoul and Washington will work together to counter what he called threats from Pyongyang.
President Moon also said he reached an agreement with Trump to continue imposing sanctions on the North over its missile and nuclear tests.
Meanwhile, protesters staged a rally in Seoul to denounce the US president’s visit to the East Asian country and his approach toward regional issues.
