The operation to rescue the crew from the missing submarine “San Juan” is completed, then the search for the vessel will continue.
This was announced at a special press conference by the official representative of the Naval Forces (CPA) of Argentina, Enrique Balbi.
“The rescue operation is over, now the search for a submarine will continue”, Balbi said.
Thus, 44 sailors from the submarine “San Juan” were found dead.
He noted that, despite all efforts, no evidence of a crash in the search area was found.
Earlier, the Navy of Argentina reported a short circuit in one of the batteries of the submarine “San Juan”.
