Hezbollah Secretary-General Hassan Nasrallah announced that US President Donald Trump and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu could push the region into war and the resistance should prepare itself for it.

This statement came to Nasrallah through the screen of Al-Mayadeen channel on Wednesday.

Nasrallah added that “the resistance movements and the countries of the axis of resistance should think carefully how to turn the next war if it got a chance,” stressing: “We plan and continue.”

He stressed that the resistance is working day and night to obtain all kinds of weapons that can achieve victory in the next war if it happened. ”

Nasrallah added: “Let the next war, which will impose an opportunity to liberate Jerusalem and I bet on this,” pointing to the existence of capabilities in the Arab world, “began to rally and believe in this option.”

He stressed that the settlement approach will not lead to a result and “the solution is the resistance approach that has achieved achievements and victories.”

“When Trump made this move (recognizing Jerusalem as the capital of Israel), Israel took a different course from the path of a settlement that would have allowed Israel to stay longer.”

He revealed that he had met “with most Palestinian factions was the last meeting last Saturday with Hamas,” pointing out that those meetings aimed to reunite and work on a consensus point “and did not seek to form any alignment.”

Regarding the recent Iranian protests, Nasrallah said: “What happened in Iran is well absorbed and is not comparable to what happened in 2009.” He said that the problem in Iran is not as political as it was in 2009.

He added that the Iranian leadership “quietly dealt with the crisis and the protesters were sorted out rioters,” noting that the riots during the demonstrations “is that gave value to the subject in addition to external positions and Saudi Arabia, which was considered this battle.

He stressed that “should not allow the traitors Iran to exploit the matter.”

He added that what happened in Iran “will not affect its support for the resistance in the region and the Iranian people have faith in the resistance,” adding that the majority of the Iranian grass “with foreign policies adopted by the leadership.”
