UNITED STATES (VOP TODAY NEWS) – NASA published a photo of the spiral galaxy NGC 5714, located in the constellation Bootes at a distance of about 130 million light years from Earth.

The snapshot of NGC 5714 is made with the Hubble telescope using the ACS camera.

In the photo, the galaxy is imprinted on the side and seems completely flat. From this perspective, the spiral structure NGC 5714 is not visible: only the edges of the blue color and the bright center are visible.

As noted on the NASA website , in 2003 a supernova star SN 2003dr flared in a spiral galaxy, in the spectrum of which a significant calcium content was recorded.
