NASA reveals the first person to fall on the surface of Mars


UNITED STATES (VOP TODAY NEWS) — The first person to get to the surface of Mars is likely to be a woman.

NASA director Jim Bridenstine revealed the exciting plans to send humans to the Red Planet on the radio show “Science Friday” this week.

NASA has already unveiled plans to send humans to Mars by mid-2030, but the crew has been a mystery so far.

Speaking on the program, Breidenstein joked that “a woman is likely to be the first person to reach the Red Planet. Interestingly, Breidenstein added that a female element would be included in NASA’s upcoming mission to the moon.

The news comes shortly after NASA announced its first female spacewalk by March 29, when Anne McLean and Christina Koch will float outside the International Space Station.
