At least 65 militants of the Islamic State terrorist group were liquidated, 18 more were wounded as a result of operations conducted by Afghan forces in the eastern province of Nangarhar.
This was announced on Tuesday by the TOLO News TV channel referring to the representative of the provincial governor.
According to him, during the operations one civilian was killed, another 13, including women and children, were injured.
The representative of the governor also added that the strikes were caused by ground and air forces. The 1TV News channel specifies that the operations were conducted on Monday.
