Former absolute world boxing champion, American Mike Tyson bought a site for growing marijuana in the US. This is reported by the Internet portal The Blast.
A plot of more than 16 hectares is located in the state of California, where from January 1, allowed to sell marijuana for recreational purposes.
Since November 2016, residents over the age of 21 have been permitted to smoke marijuana, grow it for personal use, and store a small amount of the drug.
Half of the site will be occupied by the plantation of marijuana, also Tyson intends to open a processing plant, a shop and a school for other producers to develop new varieties.
Tyson’s company will also be engaged in research into the medical use of marijuana.
Tyson is one of the strongest boxers in history, regardless of weight classes. He set a large number of records that are not beaten to the present.
In particular, Tyson was the youngest heavyweight champion in history (he won the world title in 20 years 144 days), as well as the youngest absolute world champion in the heavyweight division (at 21).
Tyson retired in 2005.
