May declared disagreement with Trump’s decision to recognize Jerusalem as the capital of Israel

British Prime Minister Theresa May said that she does not agree with the decision of US President Donald Trump to recognize Jerusalem as the capital of Israel, statement of the head of the British government said.

“We do not agree with the US decision to transfer our embassy to Jerusalem and recognize Jerusalem as the capital of Israel until the conclusion of the final status agreement,” May said.

“We believe that it will not be useful in terms of prospects for peace in this region,” the statement says. “The British Embassy in Israel is located in Tel Aviv and we have no plans by his translation.”
