The Bureau of the National Assembly, the lower house of the French parliament, approved the decision to deprive Marine Le Pen of parliamentary immunity.

This is reported FrnaceInfo referring to parliamentary sources.

It is noted that Le Pen is deprived of immunity for posting on Twitter photos of one of the victims of the Islamic State (IS, ISIS/ISIL) group, which was previously published in their account.

In June 2017, the European Parliament deprived the parliamentary immunity of the leader of the French party National Front, Marine Le Pen.

The corresponding decision is published on the EP website.

As noted by Le Figaro, the decision was taken at the request of law enforcement agencies of France.

The Office of the Public Prosecutor of Paris initiated an investigation against Le Pen, whose employees are suspected of fictitious employment as her assistants to the EP.
