A 6.3-magnitude earthquake has struck northern Chile, the United States Geological Survey (USGS) said.
The quake was recorded 73km (45 miles) east of Arica at a depth of 82km.
No tsunami warning was in effect, according to the Pacific Tsunami Warning Centre.
