UNITED STATES (VOP TODAY NEWS) — The representative of the Libyan National Army (LNA), led by Marshal Khalifa Haftar Ahmed Al-Mismari, confirmed that the fighter belonging to LNA was shot down in southeastern Libya, allegedly as a result of rocket debris falling into it.
“We lost one of our MiG-21 fighters after the pilot lost control of the aircraft. Perhaps the plane was hit by a rocket, but there was no direct hit,” said al-Mismari during a press conference in Benghazi.
