Kurds denied the report that the Turkish troops entered Afrin. This is reported by RIA.
The representative of the Northern (Syrian) Kurdistan in Moscow, Rodi Osman said that the Turkish troops could not enter Afrin.
“Despite the violent clashes, Turkey and its factions could not enter Afrin. Today, the walls they erected on the border were removed to go from the ground to Afrin,” Osman said.
According to him, Turkey faced a stiff resistance and retreated.
Earlier, the General Staff of Turkey announced the beginning of the operation “Olive Branch”, directed against Syrian Kurds in Afrin.
