Russia’s permanent representative to the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE) Alexander Lukashevich said Moscow considers the killing of Serbian politician Oliver Ivanovich a “terrorist act” aimed at intimidation.

“The killing of Serbian politician Oliver Ivanovich on January 16, 2018, in the city of Mitrovica is a terrorist act aimed at intimidating the Serb population in northern Kosovo,” Lukashevich said during a meeting of the Security Council and Cooperation in Europe.

“Ivanovic’s murder highlights the need To continue to pay attention to the situation of the various parties in Kosovo”.

The media has revealed a reward in Kosovo for any information about the death of Ivanovic.

Unidentified assailants fired on Ivanović from a car he was driving as he entered the office of his party, “Freedom, Democracy and Truth”, in the mainly Serb city of Mitrovica in northern Kosovo last Tuesday, killing him.
