Kashmir – Imran Khan is stepping up his attack on the government of Modi

UNITED STATES, WASHINGTON (VOP TODAY NEWS) — Pakistani Prime Minister Imran Khan has stepped up his attack on the Indian government after its recent decisions on Jammu and Kashmir, describing it as “fascism and racism.”

This came in two tweets on his account on the social networking site “Twitter”, Friday morning.

Khan said: The government of (Prime Minister Narendra) Modi Fascist Hindu racism should know that while armies, insurgents and terrorists can be defeated by superior forces, history tells us that when a nation unites and fights for freedom and does not fear death, no force can prevent it from Achieve its goal.”

He added in a second tweet: “For this reason, the exclusionary doctrine of the government of Modi, which seeks to consolidate the dominance of Hindus, with its fascist methods in Jammu and Kashmir will fail miserably in its attempt to quell the struggle of Kashmiris for freedom.”

The Pakistani Prime Minister has repeatedly attacked India’s recent decision, which deprives Jammu and Kashmir under its control of autonomy, and warned of a possible war between New Delhi and Islamabad on the background.

On Wednesday, Khan, in a televised speech, described India’s actions in Kashmir as a “strategic mistake” that would cost them a lot.

He warned that his country “will respond to each step is greater than them … and we will go to the end.”

On 5 August, the Indian government abolished two articles of the Constitution, one of which grants self-rule to the state of Jammu and Kashmir.

The other gives Kashmiris alone in the state the right to permanent residence as well as the right to employment in government departments and property and to receive educational grants.

The following day, the upper and lower chambers of the Indian Parliament approved the decision to divide Jammu and Kashmir into two regions (Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh), which report directly to the central government.

The resolution became law after it was passed by the president last week.
