In Burkina Faso, six people were killed in an attack on a church

UNITED STATES (VOP TODAY NEWS) — Unidentified gunmen attacked a Catholic church in the Dablo area near the city of Kaya in the east of Burkina Faso.

According to RFI, six people died as a result of the attack, including a priest.

It is noted that this is the first attack on the Catholic Church in the country.

Earlier, as a result of an attack on a village in the state of Benue in southeastern Nigeria, 35 people were killed, including two priests and parishioners of the Catholic Church.

On January 27, it was reported that in the north of Burkina Faso, ten people were killed in a terrorist attack.
