AFGHANISTAN (VOP TODAY NEWS) — At least seven children were killed and seven were injured in an explosion in the province of Laghman in eastern Afghanistan, Tolo News reported, quoting government spokesman Assadullah Dawlatzai.

According to the channel, an explosion of unexploded ordnance occurred at approximately 5.00 pm local time on the outskirts of the city of Mihtarlam in the courtyard of houses. At that moment the children were playing there.
