Hurricane Max makes landfall on Mexico’s southern Pacific coast

Hurricane Max makes landfall as Category 1 on Thursday on Mexico’s southern Pacific coast, reported Associated Press. 

Hurricane Max, a Category 1 hurricane, touched down on Mexico’s west coast on Thursday, the U.S. National Hurricane Center said, bearing down on a region popular with tourists that includes resorts like Acapulco, Zihuatanejo and Ixtapa.
