Health ministry: Palestinian shot dead by Israeli army in Salfit

UNITED STATES (VOP TODAY NEWS) — A Palestinian man was shot dead by the Israeli army in the West Bank town of Salfit during clashes sparked by army incursions into the area, the health ministry said on Tuesday.

“The martyrdom of Mohammed Shahin (23 years) from Salfit. Arrived at the Salfit government hospital was seriously injured after being shot dead in the heart.”

The Israeli army has yet to comment on the killing.

The Palestinian Red Crescent said in a statement that “our crews dealt with 40 cases of rubber and tear gas during confrontations with the occupation forces in the city of Salfit.”

“All casualties were dealt with on the ground,” he said.
