Germany: Two men arrested in Stuttgart airport following concerns of imminent attack

Two men taken into custody at Stuttgart airport in Germany following concerns of imminent attack, German media reported on Sunday.

Flights suspended from Germany’s Stuttgart airport over bomb threat.

‘In view of the global political situation and the way in which the passenger met us, we had to take the threat seriously,’ Welt quoted a federal police spokesman as saying.

‘During the routine departure check-out, a passenger told us that another passenger had threatened a bombing operation on the aircraft.

All take-offs and landings were temporarily suspended as the flight was searched but operations have since resumed.
