UNITED STATES (VOP TODAY NEWS) — Foreign Minister Haikou Mas will visit Iran as part of a three-nation Middle East tour next week to discuss ways to maintain Iran’s nuclear deal, a Foreign Ministry spokeswoman said.
The tour will also include Jordan and the United Arab Emirates, spokeswoman Maria Adebar told a regular news conference on Thursday.
It said the tour was being carried out by agreement and coordination with Britain and France, which support the nuclear deal with Iran, and were discussed with US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo, who withdrew from the deal last year.
